what a week!! gosh, it went by so fast but at the same time it felt sooooo looonnnnggg haha :) we played a bit of soccor last pday, and just chilled i guess, i liked getting to work afterwards more though, we went to teach a FHE with familia medina, and before we even started they had us sign the inside of their scriptures! haha on that sunday i gave hermana medina some scriptures with the blue scripture case hailey gave me, and the little hymnbook that came in my package :)tuesday-wednesday: i was in divisions with elder seastrand again, who showed me a qoute that i really like, it goes "the bad news is that time flys, the good news is youre the pilot" i really felt like it was something that helped lift me up :) cause ever since i hit the 6 month mark i feel like time is going by even faster! i spent some of the evening chatting with Elder Souza on the phone, which was really nice cause i was missing Curuguaty a little bit (yea the mission is weird like that, i dont miss home anymore, i just miss my old area hahaha)
thursday: we cut weeds for a service project! it was super fun, and i got to use the new gloves from my package, so i only got two tiny little blisters haha :) i think my favorite visit that day was when we talked with Evoristo( the special guy who came to church last week :)) and he sayed several times how much he appreicated our visits and our efforts to bring him back to church :)i think one of the funniest moments of the day was when i was sitting on the side of the road eating a grapefruit. i just kind of took a double take and realized how weird it is to be in paraguay! haha the grapefruit trees are just as abundant as the mango trees, and whenever i am thirsty i just pick a grapefruit from the side of the road and drink up! haha that would never happen back home! it was funny and i liked it :)
friday: we had divisions again and elder seastrand and i were working in my area. we did some good work and i felt good about what we did. it was kind of funny though, at the end of the day i was eating our little dinner and tried some doritos that we bought(thinking they were ranch) i was so excitied to have a good chip, but when i took that first bite, the overwhelming flavour of GROSS assaulted my mouth! haha we had accidently boughten asado(BBQ) flavor paraguayan made doritos! they were sooo nasty!! haha i was crying from laughing so hard XD
Saturday: we went to visit one of our new investigators, a 13 year old kid named Diego, he was busy during the morning hours and so we went to the lunch appoitnment that we had :) as we were walking along the road we saw a guy pushing a car so we ran over and helped! haha it brought back memories from when Becca took me on my first date and she ran out of gas! haha it was a truck roughly the same size too! haha it was fun thought and the guys were really appreciative, especially since we had been going uphill! then in one of our appointments i felt like bishop again as we were informed about family issues, but it was good to pracitce listening and following the spirit! that night we had an open chapel around the way and i was in charge of going around and contatcing people. it was pretty fun and appparently we got to people that came in on accident and they left with dates set for baptism! super cool :)
sunday we had attendance of 114 people. we dropped alittle from last week but we will work on it! i got to bring Evoristo again :) i really love that guy, he is incredible! he told me in sacrament meeting while i was sitting by him *you are the best of the best* in english! he is such a great guy and i am happy to be able to help him :)
today fro pday we went and rode bikes in a park and had a pretty good time with that, ill send pics! love you all and i cant wait for the next week :)
