monday i went to the local fair here in curugaty...super boring and we were there for 10 mins :P but that night i gave an english lesson to a less active, that was fun :) and then later that evening i gave my first blessing in spanish! that was acool experiance, even though i was so nervous that i messed up a few times haha ;P
tuesday we went to santani for a district meeting, but we missed it and had to cancel cause in the route we were stopped by a crowed of people blocking the road in some sort of protest :P we only got to pass by because we had a sick man onthe bus and they had to present his papers to prove that he needed to get to ascuncion!
wednesday i hit the 6 month mark! exciting, especially since i spent all that day doing service :) i used a weedwacker paraguay style (terrible piece of equipment, i couldnt feel my hands for the rest of the day becuase it vibrated so much, and they swelled up the next day haha :)
thursday i did service all day basically, this time mowing for a family, we were there from 0800-1500!! it was suuuppper long but we did make good progress, and one of them came to church again on sunday :) so that made me happy. i was also called upon to give her a blessing as well, so that made two days of blessings in a row! spiritual prompting moment, i was walking to visit an investigator and i instincivly bought two chipas, which i never do(bread basically but super dry, but it grows on ya haha) and when i got to the house a little girl was crying, i found out it was becuase she had heard the chipero pass by and wanted some chipa, but her mom didnt buy her any. i then wipped out my spare chipa and gave it to her :) it felt good!
friday we got a false alarm from another that brazil and venezuala are at war...due to our lack of information friday and saturday were very stressful and it was a hard two days :/ saturday i was so stressed out that i just spent hours reading El libro de mormon, and i actually finished it that morning :) so that was a good accomplishment!
sunday was pretty average, we had 7 people at church, i had to make some emergency fried bread that morning for sacrament. we visited families, it was chill
this week was good, i am alive and kicken, love the work, and i love you all :)
till next week,
